What cookies are
Cookies are small files stored in your browser when you visit a website. Similar technologies, such as local storage (localStorage), keep information in an equivalent way. They are used, for example, to remember preferences or to measure how a site is used.
Responsible party
The 441.studio website presents the Studio 4:41 brand. For any question about cookies, contact info@441.studio. The responsible party is Marcos Oliveira (Studio 4:41), identified in the Privacy policy.
Strictly necessary cookies
This website does not set session cookies or other cookies that are strictly necessary for it to work.
Preferences stored in your browser
The website saves your theme choice, when you switch theme, in the browser’s local storage (key s441-theme), which is used to keep several tabs in sync, and your analytics cookie choice (key s441-consent). The site always opens in the light theme. This data is not cookies, contains no personal data, is not sent to third parties and stays on your device until you clear it in your browser settings.
Analytics cookies: Google Analytics 4
We use Google Analytics 4, a Google service, to understand how the site is used: pages viewed, where visits come from, device and browser type and approximate location. We also measure main-content loading (LCP), interaction responsiveness (INP) and visual stability (CLS), associated with the page path without query parameters. Only if you accept, the cookies _ga, which distinguishes visitors, and _ga_RSNL1FNWNF, which keeps session state, are set. Both last up to 2 years. Google may process data such as the IP address, online identifiers and device information. Google may process that data outside the European Economic Area, notably in the United States, under the transfer mechanisms recognised by the European Union that it states in its terms. See Google’s privacy policy to learn how it handles that data.
Consent management
Analytics cookies are only set after you accept in the notice shown on your first visit; until then, the site does not contact Google for that purpose. You can decline without losing any functionality and change your choice at any time under “Cookie preferences” in the footer. If you decline or withdraw consent, the site stops sending data to Google and deletes the analytics cookies. The legal basis is your consent, under Law no. 41/2004 and the General Data Protection Regulation. You can also refuse or delete cookies in your browser settings or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
Third-party content
The Contact page embeds an OpenStreetMap map, which may load when you view that page. When it loads, your browser communicates with that service, which may use cookies or equivalent technologies under its own rules. Links to project websites lead to services with their own policies. This website does not use advertising or social media cookies.
How to manage or delete cookies
You can view, block or delete cookies in your browser settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge and others). Blocking analytics cookies does not affect browsing. Clearing local storage restores the default theme.
Your rights
Where applicable, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection regarding the processing of your data, and withdraw consent where processing depends on it. Send your request to info@441.studio. You may also lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority (CNPD).
Changes
This policy will be updated when the cookies used, third-party services or the details still to be confirmed change. The date above identifies the current version.
